SBA and Treasury Announce Release of Paycheck Protection Program Loan Data

The U.S. Small Business Administration, in consultation with the U.S. Department of the Treasury, recently announced it was releasing loan-level data regarding the loans made under the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). The decision to publish PPP borrower and loan information is being administered by the SBA and U.S. Department of the Treasury.

  • For loans $150,000 and above, the agencies released business names, addresses, loan amount (ranges), and other borrower information

  • For loans below $150,000, the agencies did not release business names but have reported loan totals, aggregated by ZIP code, industry, business type, and various demographic categories

  • The official press release from the Treasury can be viewed here: https://home.treasury.gov/news/press-releases/sm1052
